These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of goodhaul.us and the junk removal services provided by Good Haul in McKinney and the North Dallas area. By using our site or booking a job, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
Good Haul is a load-and-haul junk removal service. We carry out and haul away furniture, appliances, household items, and similar goods, and we donate or recycle whatever we responsibly can. We do not perform demolition or teardown work (for example, hot tubs, sheds, or structures), and we do not accept hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuels, propane, or asbestos.
Estimates and pricing
Junk removal is priced by how much space your items take up in the truck. Any price you receive online is an estimate range based on the information and photos you provide, not a final quote. We confirm the exact price with you on-site, before any work begins, and you approve it first. Prices reflect current market and demand and may change over time.
Scheduling and access
When you request a window, we text or call to confirm. You are responsible for providing safe, legal access to the items and a clear path where reasonably possible. Same-week availability is offered on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed.
Your responsibilities
- Make sure the items are yours to discard, or that you are authorized to have them removed.
- Remove any valuables, documents, or personal items you wish to keep before we haul.
- Tell us about heavy, awkward, or restricted items and any access limits when you book.
Payment
Payment is due as agreed at or after the job, by the methods we accept. A deposit may be required for certain jobs. Tips are optional and appreciated.
Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.
Photos and content
Photos you upload are used to estimate and complete your job. With your permission, we may use anonymized before-and-after photos to show our work. We will not identify you or your address without your consent.
Property and liability
We take care in and around your property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Haul is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the job in question. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
